Help feed the children
According to the United Way: in Southwest Virginia, one in four children live in poverty and 70% of Wise County primary school students are on free/reduced lunch. This inadequacy is compounded by federal guidelines that limit free school calories for school lunch. For some of these children, school lunch is their only daily meal. Studies have shown, it's hard for children to learn if they are suffering from hunger.

If you want to organize a fundraiser, help pack weekend backpacks, or something else, we'd love to hear from you. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization.
Lunchbox276 strives to ensure students in our area don't go hungry. We provide extra nourishment at school and send home food for the weekend.
